Terms and conditions for using KyroRide services

1. General

By booking a ride or airport transfer through KyroRide, you agree to these terms of service. KyroRide is a transport booking platform that connects passengers with licensed, professional drivers in Cyprus. These terms govern the relationship between you (the passenger) and KyroRide. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Booking & Cancellation

Bookings can be made through our website or mobile platform. All bookings are subject to driver availability. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference and driver details.

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are free of charge. A full refund will be issued.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
  • No-shows or cancellations after the driver has arrived will be charged the full fare.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed at the time of booking are final and include VAT. KyroRide operates on a fixed-price model — there are no surge charges, traffic surcharges, or hidden fees. The quoted price covers the journey from the specified pickup to the specified drop-off location. Additional stops or significant route deviations may incur extra charges, which will be communicated before the journey begins.

4. Luggage Policy

Each vehicle type has a defined luggage capacity. Standard sedans accommodate up to 3 standard suitcases, vans up to 7, and minibuses accommodate larger volumes depending on passenger count. Oversized or excess luggage must be declared at the time of booking. KyroRide reserves the right to refuse transportation if luggage exceeds the vehicle capacity and poses a safety risk.

5. Waiting Time

For airport pickups, drivers will wait up to 15 minutes free of charge from the time the flight lands and the passenger clears arrivals. For flights that are delayed, KyroRide monitors flight status and adjusts the pickup time accordingly at no additional cost. For non-airport pickups, a 5-minute grace period is provided. After the free waiting period, a per-minute charge may apply.

6. Liability

KyroRide and its drivers carry appropriate insurance for passenger transport in accordance with Cyprus law. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable legislation. KyroRide is not liable for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. We are not responsible for items left in vehicles, though we will make reasonable efforts to recover and return lost property.

7. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to treat drivers with respect and to refrain from behaviour that endangers the safety of the driver or other road users. Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle. Drivers reserve the right to terminate a journey if a passenger behaves in a disruptive or dangerous manner. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using KyroRide, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described therein.
